Los Angeles superstar Freddie Freeman tweaked his quad Tuesday night, according to manager Dave Roberts.
The first baseman is currently “managed” as he is still in the starting lineup for Wednesday’s rubber match with the San Diego Padres.

Freeman may not be running at full speed Wednesday, according to insider David Vasuge.
During a 11-1 blown loss against the Padres on Tuesday night, Freeman went 4-1 on the walk. Unfortunate performances from the offense and nine run scored from Matt Saur created a terrible show at Petco Park.
“Tweak” adds another layer to the defeat, as Freeman’s health is his number one priority at this point.

The eighth All-Star had a complicated history of injuries that date back to the tail end of the 2024 regular season.
Rolling his ankle towards the end of September last year and passing through the postseason with broken rib cartilage on his way to one of the most memorable moments in MLB history, certainly added to Freeman’s legend, but they were still injuries that the veteran had to deal with.
His offseason surgery at his ankle did as much as he could to get Freeman back to the diamond, but he missed the game in Japan due to pain in his rib (broken cartilage before), fine-tuned his shower-hidden ankle at the end of March, and missed another 10 games.
On the other hand, when it comes to production, Freeman hasn’t missed the steps.
The Governance World Series MVP is to hit .349/.417/.585 with a 1.002 OPS. He leads the National League on batting average and is third in the OPS majors.
The current course of action is monitoring Freeman’s feet and hopes that the injury, an enemy of this wild division, will not be so serious, especially for next week.
After finishing the series against the Padres on Wednesday, LA will face the San Francisco Giants for a three-game set and once again face the brothers for the four-game gauntlet next week.
