We look ready for the afternoon action that defines the season, as the fights at both ends of the championship table seem to descend quickly on the wire.

Just as Leeds and Burnley are aiming for another huge leap towards a lucrative Premier League return, teams at the foot of the table are fighting for their lives.

Ahead of the stacked Friday schedule, we have looked at some of the most engaging championship betting tips available.

Friday, April 18th

BST 15:00 Watford vs Burnley

Burnley may have lost his Premier League spot last season, but Clarett sat firmly in the driver’s seat to book an immediate top fly return.

Saturday’s guests may have seen Vincent Company complete a shocking move to German giant Bayern Munich last summer, but they certainly enjoy life under Scott Parker.

The former Fulham boss, who won Friday equipment, holding a 5-point buffer at the automatic promotion spot, knows his team can quickly make a big leap to officially book Premier League returns.

Similarly, the only difference in their goals is left off the top of the championship table, and Burnley enjoys what has become a considerable run.

Finally, we saw that they secured a 2-1 victory against Norwich at home and beat records this season, but Clarett hasn’t even suffered a single championship loss since the beginning of November.

Watford immediately returned to last week’s defeat as he went 2-1 at West Brom’s hands last week, but has not been able to find any kind of stability so far this calendar year.

Tom Cleverly’s men, who won April in an additional 2-1 loss to Bristol City, secured one victory from one of the previous five championship showdowns.

It was a hit in a 2-1 defeat when we traveled to Turf Moor for the reverse championship meeting on December 21st.

Tip: Jadon Anthony over 0.5 shots on target @6/5

15:00 Coventry vs West Brom

Many may have been shocked in November after Frank Lampard arrived in the Midlands, but Coventry certainly enjoys life under the former Everton boss.

Friday’s hosts will return to playoff locations and support themselves this weekend for a season-defining showdown when local rivals are bitter.

Heading for the international break in March with a 3-0 star romp with Sunderland, Coventry held a 3-point buffer in the top six chase, and they were justly given plenty of praise.

Coventry should be excited not only for losing his previous 11 championship trio, but also for his success in his hometown.

It should be noted that Lampard’s men scored 15 points from their final six matchups at the Coventry Building Society Arena, as they were last seen in front of their own supporters claiming a 1-0 victory over Portsmouth.

It is West Brom that they have to use that performance as a platform that has managed to make a return essential to their way of winning, as they took a 2-1 home victory against Watford last week.

But while Buggy may open equipment on Friday, he drifted out local enemies and found a route to playoff locations for just three points, Tony Maubray’s men lost three other championship appearances.

Unable to find any kind of stability, West Brom significantly failed to collect back-to-back championship wins from mid-September.

Mowbray’s side gained a reputation for obvious issues on the roads and failed to win any of the last 13 consecutive tier battles away from Hawthorn.

Tip: Coventry wins @5/4

15:00 Swansea City vs Hull City

Swansea may already have accepted that the dramatic slow rate of playoff finishes is off the card, but the hosts on Friday signed off for the 2024/25 campaign amid sensational gusts.

With the moods high and high at camp, Alan Sheehan’s men are riding a huge wave of momentum, and are about to expand the purple patch here.

As they last saw them deliver another eye-catching performance when they scored a 1-0 victory at Sunderland, Swan won each of their previous three consecutive championship appearances with a total score of 5-0.

In fact, Sheehan’s high-flying team has 10 points on the board from just the last four showdowns against the second tier opposition.

However, as they have admitted one strike through April and enjoying the campaign’s most fruitful spell, Swansea will smell the real opportunity this weekend.

Hal may be on the 2024/25 campaign, but is set to target the installation of another playoff fee, but the Tigers are back on Earth this time.

The Reuben Sels men are at the heart of the scraps of championship relegation, despite coming from behind during the week as they took a 1-1 stalemate at home against Coventry.

Hull, who lost 1-0 at Watford in his final showdown away from MKM Stadium, has earned one victory from one of his previous five championship appearances.

The former Reading Boss should be preparing himself for another rigorous exam this weekend, as he was unable to find any kind of liquidity in the last third.

Tip: Swansea City draws 8/11 @8/11
