Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruin has linked his move away from the club at the end of the season when his contract expired.
The 33-year-old is about to join the new club after confirming he doesn’t want to sign an extension with Manchester City. According to a report by SportMediaset, Liverpool forward Mohamed Sarah has revealed to the club that he wants the Belgian midfielder to sign.
Kevin De Bruin improves Liverpool
Though he is 33, De Bruyne remains a world-class player, able to make a big difference for Liverpool in the final third. He creates goalscoring opportunities for teammates and helps them control the game in the middle of the park.
He has won every major trophy during his time at Manchester City, and his winning experience could prove to be invaluable. He will be a short-term acquisition, but signing a player of his quality on a free transfer could prove to be a masterstroke. Liverpool will want to win a major trophy next season, and the 33-year-old can make a big difference for them.
Mo Salah is eager to move
It’s no surprise that Sarah wants the club to sign Belgium. He’ll want to play with Liverpool’s world-class players. Liverpool can help him with the main trophies, and the Belgian certainly fits his profile. The Egyptian recently described his career as “amazing.”
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool can secure agreement with players in the coming weeks. He will become a free agent, but he could order a massive wage. It is still unclear whether Liverpool is ready to offer him the best dollars.
The opportunity to participate in the Premier League champions can also be an exciting champion for players. He is a proven performer in British football and was able to continue to change Liverpool.
