The full UFC Vegas 106 card was revealed in welterweight Gilbert Burns and Michael Morales, headlined for the event to be held at UFC Apex in Las Vegas on May 17th.
Originally scheduled for UFC 315 a week ago, Burns and Morales have shifted their gear to become the main event with UFC Fight Night cards instead of two fighters trending in the opposite direction based on recent results.
Burns, a stubborn 170 pound ranking in recent years, has struggled with three consecutive losses recently, but the one-off title challenger faces the top fighter in the division. His three losses include current champion Beral Muhammad, No. It was brought against 1 candidate Jack Della Madalena and UFC No. 1 welterweight Sean Brady.
To get back on track, Burns will need to find a way to pass his first defeat to Morales as the undefeated prospect is based on his perfect 17-0 record, including five consecutive wins in the UFC.
More recently, Morales sent veteran welterweight Neil Manny with his first round knockout to win a Night Award performance last August.
The on-card co-specialised match moves to the light heavyweight division where Paul Craig returns to his actions against Rodolfo Berato.
Following a short stop at the middleweight division, Craig returned to 205 pounds and spent the majority of his career.
As for Berato, he built on an incredible finish rate and scored 11 stops in 12 career victories, including the victory of Ijol Potilia in his Octagon debut, before heading out to a draw with Jimmy Crute in his next appearance.
