Gazzy Rabadanov quickly picked up where he left off after winning the 2024 PFL Championship with a stunning knockout on former UFC fighter Mark Diakies in just 32 seconds in the PFL 3 co-main event on Friday.
The fight unfolds in a rapid fire as Diakie tries to show off his impression when he throws a kick to the Russians, but it backfired spectacularly. Rabadanov caught a kick, which led to a quick takedown, and the Russians quickly began to begin a series of devastating punches.
The shot began to thrust into him with his right hand from Rabadanov, absolutely blowing up Diakiese, pulling him out of consciousness as he stepped into the canvas, and the referee quickly stopped the contest.
Diakiese stayed on the ground for a while before he could return to the stool.
The fight was only 32 seconds after Rabadanov scored a vicious knockout.
“It’s a sport. I respect all my opponents,” Rabadanov said after his latest victory. “Of course I’m more motivated. I have to prove to those who deserve to be here. I’m prepared for this. It worked.
“He has a family. He has his fans and I understand this guy. I don’t want to break anyone. I just want to win.”
Currently riding on a winning streak of 11 fights, currently a highly impressive 11-fight wins, including five consecutive wins in the PFL, Rabadanov is undoubtedly a heavy favorite to win the ongoing PFL lightweight tournament, and will then face Jay Jay Wilson in the semi-finals.
