Red Bull’s protest against George Russell’s victory at the F1 Canadian Grand Prix was denied.

Red Bull was in protest after the race in Canada.

No particular incident was mentioned by the FIA, but it mentioned driving under Russell’s safety vehicle.

Sunday’s race ended behind the safety car after McLaren drivers involved and worked together late.

The field formed behind the safety car on lap 68, causing Russell to slow down temporarily, and Verstappen temporarily passed his rival before returning to the correct position.

Russell’s actions caught the attention of Verstappen, who has been on the brink of a race ban after accumulating penalty points in his license after causing controversy with a Mercedes driver in Spain.

“George suddenly braked offensively,” I heard Verstappen complain to Team Radio.

Meanwhile, Russell reported: “Verstappen overtook me under a safety car.”

During a post-race media session, Christian Horner explained that he was unhappy with how much Russell was back behind the safety car and how unstable he was.

Russell is cleared and maintains the Canadian Grand Prix victory.
