The Milwaukee Bucks have not done a really great job building a roster around Giannis Anteto Compo to win the championship.
The Milwaukee Bucks once again suffered a slow performance in the playoffs, knocking out for the third season in the third round.
Since winning the 2021 NBA Championship, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his team have won one playoff series in the past four years.
After Damien Lillard shed Achilles’ tears in the playoffs, the Bucks felt they were back on the horn. And to deal with their roster, the Bucks abandoned Lillard to sign Miles Turner.
The move felt like a desperate attempt to curb rumors of Giannis Antetocomo, demanding trade. But that will have a big impact on their roster next season.
The Milwaukee Bucks are probably one of the most front-loaded teams in the NBA. The depth of their backcourt has suffered a lot of damage this offseason.
This is what the Bucks lineup might look like:
| Starting lineup | Second unit |
| Cole Anthony | Ryan Rollins |
| Gary Trent Jr. | AJ Green |
| Kyle Kuzma | Bobby Portis |
| Giannis Antetokounmpo | Prince Taurean |
| Miles Turner | Jericho Sims |
The lack of depth of the backs, especially in guard positions at point guard spots, can be extremely difficult for them.
Cole Anthony is the only natural point guard of the Bucks. Ryan Rollins is a combo guard that can be replaced in that position. However, if you get injured by any star, you can put your team in a very difficult position.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is not planning to leave this season, but that doesn’t mean the Bucks are safe from future trade demand.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has stated that he loves Milwaukee and has said he wants to finish his career with the Bucks many times, but he also states his desire to win multiple championships.
If the Bucks can’t bring together a championship team beyond this season, Giannis could really consider leaving the team.
Miles Turner needs to step up to the Bucks and post All-Star numbers to make the Bucks formidable in the Western Conference.
