The Los Angeles have been busy pursuing the depths of the bullpen these days. On Monday, the ran a one-on-one trade with the Seattle Mariners for right-handed Will Klein. On Tuesday they signed Jose Urena, the right hander.

Last week, the acquired former All-Star closer Alexis Diaz via trade from the Cincinnati Reds.
Diaz struggled this season, only appearing six times at the Major League level in 2025. He joined the at the 12.00 ERA.
Klein and Urena have become the ‘ latest regeneration project, but Diaz is working with the pitching and performance group of the Arizona team.
general manager Brandon Gomez told Bill Plunkett on the Orange County Register. “He still shows the flash of past elite rescuers with the ability to dominate right-handed batsman, but he couldn’t consistently repeat that version.”
The hope to bring Diaz back to All-Star form, producing a 3.07 ERA with 86 strikeouts in 67.1 innings during the 2023 season.
Manager Dave Roberts hopes Diaz will soon be joining the bullpen. La Relievers is currently leading the league in the innings. This indicates that the bullpen is frequently used early in the season.
The currently have 15 pitchers on their injured list, but the latest Lewis Garcia is a reliefer. The injury was not kind to the defending champion. The are very openly eager to see newcomers like Diaz work well for the exhausted bullpen.
