The Golden State Warriors are a team with more questions than the answers currently heading for 2025-26.

2024-25, when he fell in the play-in tournament last season, was some progress for the Golden State Warriors, reaching the semi-finals of the conference.

Stephen Curry’s injury was important in the defeat, but it made it clear that other teams were unable to step up as they lost the 1-0 series lead 4-1 to Minnesota.

This week, former player Baron Davis criticized the lack of young talent on the Warriors’ roster, citing the lack of elite prospects.

The Golden State Warriors have not signed one player during their free agency. This has created an increasingly upsetting fanbase.

This was reflected in responses to posts shared by the Warriors social media team during the Summer League.

The Warriors shared images of Brandin Posiemsky, Moses Moody, Gi Santos and Trace Jackson Davis in support of their teammates.

I read the post “Dubs that support dubs.”

The response from fans to the post reflects the lack of faith that fans have in Warriors players.

“They are scouting the competition to build teams, they shouldn’t be twisted like that,” one comment read.

While another wrote, “They need to play in the summer league.”

“Each person should play,” another agreed.

And another wrote: “They should all play.”

A further message made me wonder why they were sitting down, “They should all play the people they think are, TF Steve Kerr and the front office.”

And another person exploded: “No one person is trying to improve his ___ lol y’all either.

Despite the negativity, there is a reason Golden State Warriors fans will be optimistic in the summer league.

On the second round draft pick, Richard was impressed with his performance, but the undrafted rookie LJ Kryer showed his impressive three-point shot.

In front of the quartet watching, another undrafted rookie stepped up, Gabe Madsen created his name by showing electric power from the bench.

Whether any of the more advanced stars should be with them is another matter.
