In the 2024-25 regular season, the Warriors went 48-34. They had to compete in the play-in tournament to make the playoffs. After they defeated Memphis, the Warriors scored the seventh seed in the West Playoffs.

Golden State defeated the Rockets in seven games of Round 1, but lost five games to Minnesota in the semi-finals. On Wednesday, Warriors backup guard Brandin Poziemski underwent surgery on his left wrist. This was first reported by Ohm Young Misque of ESPN. He said Podziemski is expected to be ready to start training camp in October.

On the 19th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, the Warriors chose Brandin Posiemski from Santa Clara. As a rookie, Poziemsky played 74 in 82 games in Golden State and got off to a 28 start. In the sophomore campaign from 2024-25, Podziemski played 64 of 82 games, starting 33. The 22-year-old averaged 11.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game. By mid-February, Podziemski was the full-time starter for head coach Steve Kerr.

On Wednesday, ESPN’s Ohm Young Misk reported that Warriors’ Brandin Poziemsky had surgery on his left wrist. Golden State said the young security guards are expected to be ready for training camp in October. Previous first-round picks began 11 of 12 games in the 2025 Warriors playoffs. He had games of over 25 points this postseason. Podziemski will become a key player in Golen State from 2025-26.

He is not the only Warriors guard who had surgery this offseason. Last week, Moses Moody had surgery with her right thumb. Both players are expected to be ready to start training camp. Brandin Podziemski played through discomfort during the 2025 playoffs. It explains why he had a poor shooting near the end of the year. The previous first-round pick is expected to recover fully after leaving his wrist on Wednesday.
