Harshit Rana struck soon after and removed Travis Head for 28 runs. Head tried to flick a long shot on his pads, but it heaved high towards mid-off and was easily caught by Virat Kohli.
Rana’s wicket proved to be a crucial moment, putting pressure on the Australian side and giving momentum to Shubman Gill’s side as they looked to defend their total.
