According to a new update involving Barry Ferguson, the Rangers are not without the “important” 17 goal players for the rest of the season.
Ranger starring in victory over Ferguson and Celtic
GERS is in the glory of a 3-2 victory in the Scottish premiership on Sunday afternoon.
The results may not necessarily make a big difference to the grand scheme of things in this season’s title race, but it was even more proof that the Rangers are heading in the right direction under Ferguson.
Scott led his team to the Europa League quarterfinals following his penalty shootout victory at Ibrox last Thursday.
If Rangers are going all the way in Europe this season, then all we can do is ask Ferguson to take charge in the long term. However, new blows have emerged regarding key players that the boss doesn’t want to hear.
Rangers could lose Celny in 8 matches
According to Daily Record (via Ibrox News), Rangers attacker Vaclav Cerny managed to miss eight matches to gush water with Celtic fans after the victory goal on Sunday.
The ban appears to be coming in the 27-year-old way, but while it may be as short as the two games, there is no guarantee that it won’t be any more. But he didn’t just miss out on domestic equipment, he wasn’t out of the Europa League.
Cerny has been such a key player for the Rangers throughout the season, so Ferguson is sweating to be unavailable for a string of league matches.
The Czechs scored a total of 17 goals (11 in the league and six in the Europa League). He also registered four assists, and Philip Clement supplemented him for free while working together at Ibrox.
“Vuclav has shown a lot of calm in his moments. And that’s the moment I want to see more and more from the team. He works hard for the team and the club. He’s just in the building and people forget about it. Some players need six months to adapt to the new environment.

He’s just about to rise from GERS supporters.
Hopefully, authorities don’t feel that Serny’s actions at Parkhead deserve a long ban – they can argue that what he did is not overly malicious – but if not, other attackers will have to step up in his absence.
