According to one of the club’s former scouts Brian King, Aston Villa midfielder Ross Barkley will certainly leave at the end of his contract.
Berkley has had a career up and down for many years, but now it is unclear what the future holds for him.
The 31-year-old started out as something truly strange during his Everton days, but struggled when he later acquired a big move for Chelsea.
Since then, Berkley has occasionally shown signs of reviving a spell career with Luton Town and Aston Villa, but he is now defeating the boring order once again with Unai Emery’s team.
Ross Berkley will certainly leave Aston Villa soon, the former scout says
King now widely hopes that Berkley is nearing the end of his time at Villa Park.
England International will close their contract at the end of this season, but it appears very unlikely that Villa will offer him a new deal.
“He will not be a member of the Europa League team and will not play regularly in the Premier League.
“He’s finished his contract at the end of the season. To be honest, I think he’ll leave the villa freely.”
This probably isn’t a big surprise for villa fans. They would hope that after this departure, there will be appropriate plans in place to strengthen their team.
