Henry Sejude does not have a reserved fight, but that doesn’t mean he has no opportunity to make the most of his skills.
On Saturday, Sejude producer Dylan Rush shared a video of the original two division UFC champions, telling a wild story that claims he crashed the vehicle and helped arrest the suspect in a neighbourhood that attacked the homeowner.
Check out the clip below.
“Like a group of teenagers doing about 80 mph,” Sejude said. “I just came out with producer Dylan Rush, and I happened to see this car reaching about 80 mph and heard *rrrrrrrr *.
The video uploaded by Rush shows the suspects being seen wrestled on the ground, and a man with a visible head wound, perhaps Sejude’s neighbor. According to Cejudo, his neighbor was attacked by the driver of the vehicle in question, and that’s when Cejudo gets caught up in the action.
“The man stood up, the man tried to leave, and I don’t know if these people had a gun, so he assaulted the owner,” Sejude said. “When he attacked my neighbor, I was like, ‘It’s okay guys, guys.’ In his 60s (of my neighbor) I had to go out there and pick up the suspect, drop him, and slapped him a bit.
Rush also shared his own account of the drama in an Instagram caption:
Henry Sejude arrested a hit n run driver who tried to escape the scene
The driver was 80 mph in a residential area before crashing into the side of a house across the street from Sejude. After leaving the vehicle, the driver ran to escape.
When the 65-year-old homeowner got in the way, the driver punched the man multiple times and began to run away before Sejudo could run down and smack him on the back. The driver continued to resist before his fellow neighbors pointed his gun at him, and cooperated with him before Phoenix PD arrived.
Cejudo recently fought at UFC Seattle this February. After a brutal eye on Sejud stabbed him, he lost his technical decision to sing Yadon. He’s been 0-3 since he left retirement in 2023.
With the effects of eye injuries still still there, Sejude openly spoke about the possibility of wearing gloves for the second time.
