Colton Hertha made a funny comment about Alex Pallow’s Mid Ohio’s final mistake in the Indy 200, losing his race victory.
Chatting with the post-Donougheur race about the multiple strategic options that the race threw, he realized Parow’s mistake during an interview he immediately came up with.
Andretti’s driver said, “(I) I can’t tell him I’m not feeling well. He’s pretty unfaulted and I’m amazed that he made a mistake.”
There were many tributes to Championship rival Alex Pallow in 2024, and the Spaniard was plagued by the mistake of giving Scott Dixon a lead and a final race victory.
Out of turn 9, Parow puts two tires on the grass, and he loses quite a bit of time.
Taking the past, Dixon used his experienced defense to control the race and put Palou behind him.
Very keen to regain a clearly lost position, Alex was able to pass the car and see him making mistakes from a corner that looks like a keyhole.
Herta’s response is because Paloo has had six wins in 10 rounds this season, and is almost perfect so far.
Herta hasn’t won a race yet this season, but after a solid overall weekend he ran a strong race at Midohio.
However, he believed he could do more for him this weekend, despite taking part in the conversation for a victory during the race.
Hertha commented that she believes she “dropped” the ball in qualifying after placing herself fifth to start the race.
He finds Simpson stuck behind Kaifin Simpson before he suffered from a short problem.
But behind Simpson it became difficult to catch, and Hertha ultimately had to settle down to the fourth, highly praiseworthy.
He said: “I moved up one place from the starting position, but I think I was supposed to be third yesterday. I dropped the ball.
“If I did, I think our race would look a little different, not stuck behind Kaifin and Seigel in the first stint.
“They lost their top three paces and I think they had more paces for Alex and Landguard.”
As a result, Hertha came in 7th in the championship.
