"Herzog wants to see the body close up": Pro responds to Mohammad Yahya crushing Stephen Nuguen in UFC Abu Dhabi

Stephen Nuguen has won one of the most dominant performances in UFC history, but a few fighters suspect his fight has gone too far.

In a preliminary featherweight match at UFC Abu Dhabi, Nguyen hit Mohammadyahiya absolutely, scoring multiple knockdowns in the first round and dealing more damage in round two.

Neither umpire Jason Herzog nor Yahya’s corner seemed interested in stopping the fight after the Brute’s opening round, surprising many fighters watching Saturday’s event.

Former UFC fighter Zach Pauga wrote on Twitter:

Veteran MMA commentator Dan Hardy commented that the round 1 beatdown looked like a “stop the fight” moment.

Check out the social media reaction to Nguyen’s performance below.

It looks like a broken orbital bone!

The man is too tough for his own profit!
