Man United are looking for a new striker this summer, but if they miss their European qualifications, it may be difficult to sign their wishes.
Victor Osimhen is one of the players on the Old Trafford nominee list, but he is also interested in Viktor Gyoker, who worked with head coach Reuben Amorim at Sports CP. And it could be that connection that will allow Man United to have an advantage over other clubs keen on Swedish marksmen, even if they don’t have European football next season.
Man United flips Arsenal to sign Victor Gyoker
That’s the view of Mark Laurensen, who hopes Man United will sign Gjoker this summer, if Man United is making concrete attempts. This is despite the fact that Arsenal has made him a major striker target in recent weeks.
“Arsenal signing Victor Gökeres will be the last jigsawpa required to win the Premier League. But if the player chooses either Arsenal or Manchester United, I think he’s picking United because he has a straight-up companion of Reuben Amorim.
“We can’t see him go anywhere else outside Manchester United regardless of the money, despite them not having European football next season.
If Man United signed gyoker before Arsenal, it is a statement of intent and a heartfelt love for their supporters. For now, it remains to be seen whether the Swedes, who have a 42 goal with 43 club appearances this season, will end in Manchester this summer.
