Liverpool won their 20th league title in a victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League yesterday, bringing Mohamed Sarah closer to another record.
It’s been a great season for them as a team and they aim to end this season strongly. Meanwhile, it was an amazing campaign for the Egyptian international Mohamed Sarah.
He has so far earned 46 goal contributions in the Premier League and is now turning his eyes to recording the most goal involvement in a single Premier League campaign.
Alan Shearer and Andy Cole led the rankings with 47 goal contributions, with Sarah approaching breaking the record. Liverpool have four games left in the Premier League, and it will be interesting to see if Sara can produce two more target contributions.
Talking to Sky Sports, Sarah reveals that he is trying to break the record.
He said: “Hopefully, I’ll break it soon.”

Mohamed Sarah is outstanding
The Egyptian has broken many Premier League records since moving to Liverpool, but this could become another feather in his cap. He is a world-class performer for Liverpool, and has contributed 56 goals in all competitions this season. He is certainly one of his favourites to win the Barondoor, and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to snap the prestigious award.
Sarah recently committed a future with the club with a contract extension. Reds fans hope he can break more records with them.
