If Giannis Antetokounmpo is about to leave the Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn nets can help him make a great landing.

Giannis Antetokounmpo reportedly looks at his options as his career with the Milwaukee Bucks has stagnated.

Many teams have expressed interest in former NBA champions. There are several landing spots that Giannis can consider.

One team linked to the Antetokounmpo movement is San Antonio Spurs. With a wealth of draft assets, including the second overall pick in this year’s draft, the Spurs are in a great position.

Additionally, the pairing of Giannis and Victor Wenbagnama could be an instant championship success recipe. However, there is a big problem. The Spurs may fail to break up with many assets the Bucks may find desirable.

There is a solution – add a third team to the deal. And it may be the one who made Landing Antetocompo a priority just a few months ago.

  • Brooklyn Net receives: Harrison Barnes (SAS), 2025 Second Overall Pick, 2026 Two Round Pick (SAS, DAL, or PHI via SAS), 2029 First Round Pick (SAS).

This transaction is useful for all masters. All three parties can leave knowing that they have gotten strong hauls for the assets they gave up.

The Spurs will receive not only Giannis, but also Cameron Johnson, a player who has been looking at over a year.

On top of that, while abandoning the second overall pick, they will win an eighth and a 26th pick in the same class, and receive two first picks as compensation.

The Bucks begin rebuilding with two young stars and a host of draft picks, including their own picks. Set them for a strong rebuild with two first round picks in this class and two picks in 2027.

The net has got the coveted second overall pick to land the outlook they’ve looked at, the Dailan Harper. On top of this, they will secure the 2026 first round pick with top three protection.

It’s a deal that allows all three aspects to feel comfortable knowing they’re far better apart, even if there may seem a lot of things they’re giving up.
