The Los Angeles are trying out an offseason extra Heisenkim at center field along with the Triple A Oklahoma City Comets. Kim was a Korean 2 base gold glove defender, but the team is looking to see if it can provide versatility in the outfield.
On Tuesday, Kim scored her third start of the year at Center Field. James Outman, a known centre fielder, began on the field on the right. Kim also started three games with 2 bases and three games with shortstop that year.

Offensively, Kim continued to have a strong start to the season, making it 6-for-6 with three runs and two stolen bases. In 2019, he is currently hitting .308 with an OPS of .873.

The have yet to score positive production from center field this season. Andy Page struggles offensively, defensively and at base.
Offensively, he’s hitting .118 at 0.415. Defensively, he is below average on the central field, with a minus one out above average. He also misplayed a Bryce Harper double, giving the Philadelphia Phillies an 8-7 lead (and ultimate victory) on Sunday. Here is the video of the play:
Manager Dave Roberts recently spoke about Page’s Los Angeles struggle.

“Yeah, he did a bad reading,” Roberts said. “It was a line drive and I hit it hard. I think he broke in, then it broke towards the right field and at that point he was beaten to baseball. It was just a difficult read.”
Regarding his base running mistake, Roberts said, after being picked up over the weekend: “As a young player, you still managed to play the game the right way, he doubled a few games ago.
Tommy Edman played center field for the on Monday, but Page returned to center field on Tuesday with Edman at 2 base.
However, it is clear that the would like to see if Kim could become an option in the center field or if Edman would be available in the center field with 2 base.
Either way, Kim’s strong bat in Triple A so far is to give him a serious case and get a call-up earlier than later.
