Nico Harrison was ridiculed by the NBA fanbase for trading Luka Doncic for the Lakers. But what if it was Step 1, bringing LeBron James to Dallas?
The Los Angeles Lakers landed Luka Donsic in one of the most amazing deals in NBA history. The Dallas Mavericks were panned to let go of a generation of superstars.
Doncic’s short stint with Lakers shows signs of a promise. The Lakers were eliminated, but this is due to many factors other than Donsic’s control.
Luka Doncic has several decisions about his future with the Lakers. However, Stephen A. Smith believes that LeBron James’ decision could affect his choices.
LeBron recently insisted that Luka is not responsible for staying. That’s because he plans his own sensational move.

At 40, LeBron James’ future with the Lakers is in the air. The Lakers are expected to keep James by signing a new deal. However, according to AthleticJames’ camp insiders don’t rule out movements towards another team.
They mention James’s mention of Anthony Davis and his friendly interaction with Kyrie Irving in Game 5 as a sly message to the Lakers front office. And Nico Harrison is expected to pursue his third superstar this summer, opening the door for James to go to the Mavericks.
“So, might James think about pursuing a fifth ring and ending his career elsewhere? When he raises that question, both James and the league sources close to the team’s sources don’t control that possibility.
“Davis’ unsolicited mention at the post-match press conference reminded me that the two were very close before the unexpected farewell.”
“The same can be said about James and Mavericks Point Guard Kyrie Irving. Kyrie Irving has gathered notifications about his courtside presence in Game 5 and his interactions with James during play – TNT TV broadcasts.”
“As an athletic Reported in February, Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison is expected to pursue another star this summer, whether it’s James or someone like Phoenix Suns’ Kevin Durant. ”

LeBron James has not given any indication that he wants to leave the Lakers. However, at LeBron, reading between lines is always important.
James is incredibly calculated, and does nothing without purpose. So his comments and interactions with two Maverick stars Davis and Irving are no coincidence.
But James has probably had extensive conversations with Donsic about Nico Harrison. Would LeBron and his camp be willing to trust Mavericks?
Moreover, everything we hear about Nico’s passive, aggressive approach sounds like James is unhappy under his auspices.
However, James is desperate to win another NBA championship. And perhaps he would do so with two teammates who won the title along with Will.
