Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reported that the found friendship in bloom between the two outfielders after the co-hitting coach Aaron Bates and that he was looking for Hernandez to pass advice and support on the page.

“We’ve always been really close,” Page said. “We’ve talked a lot. We’ve talked a lot about a lot of difficult times. It’s a lot of fun times. Obviously (Hernandez) has a lot of experience in the big leagues, so I’m using him for some of these difficult times.
During the Cold Streaks on the Page that Begins 2025, Hernandez spoke about the advice he gave his teammates to turn things around.
“We’re not talking about what he’s wrong or the recession he’s in,” Hernandez said. “I’m just trying to tell him: ‘OK, let’s try this. Let’s try it. Anything that makes you feel better about what you’re doing on the field.”
The page hits .407 in the last 13 games with an OPS of 1.169. He has added four home runs, nine RBIs and improved cooking patience with eight strikeouts in 54 at-bats.
