Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson is willing to leave the club during the summer transfer.
Initially there were rumours that German champion Bayern Munich was enthusiastic about Nicholas Jackson and they could aim to move for him. However, Christian Faulk revealed to CF Bayern Insider that he is not interested in the German champion signing the 24-year-old. They plan to continue with Harry Kane as their first choice striker, and Lewis Diaz could be a backup striker option for them.
Nicholas Jackson should leave Chelsea
Meanwhile, Jackson falls into a pecking order at Chelsea and he has to leave the club. Liam Delap and Joao Pedro are ahead of him in the pecking order. He needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and it would be interesting to see if he can find the right destination.
Jackson has shown his quality in the Premier League and LaLiga in the past. He’s definitely a quality player. He could have been a convenient option for Bayern Munich.
Jackson needs a new start
The striker is still very much at the peak of his strength, and he aims to return to his best in regular football. Chelsea may not be able to offer him the opportunity next season. It is still unknown how the situation will develop. Meanwhile, German outfits should aim to invest in another trusted striker who can support Kane in their attacks.
Chelsea have recently been able to win two trophies and they are trying to build on it. They will try to push the best quality players next season, for it to happen. They need a better quality, deeper team, and Jackson might be ideal for them.
