Steve Kerr pays tribute to Jimmy Butler’s incredible competitiveness.
Jimmy Butler immediately lifted the Golden State Warriors after being traded to the team ahead of the deadline.
The team has only experienced four losses since Butler joined the Warriors. And one of these happened when the superstar wasn’t in court.
This was the Warriors shock on March 2nd, when they lost to the Philadelphia 76ers on March 2nd. This is an unexpected result of Quenting Rimes scoring 44 points and Butler sitting against one of his previous teams.
And Steve Kerr expressed that Butler was not happy about it.
Steve Kerr spoke to Bay Radio Outlet 95.7 about his praise for Jimmy Butler and the impact he had on his team.
Kerr explained that Butler was unhappy with resting due to the Warriors’ defeat in the Sixth.
He said: “We lost a Philadelphia game a few weeks ago and he sat down that game. He had a back problem. He’s come to me since the game ended, coach, sorry, I hate losing a game anymore.”
Kerr explained that it was part of the mysterious 35-year-old process that he claimed.
He said.
“I mean, this guy is a great competitor, and he plays that way.”
If Kerr really wants to let Butler rest, he needs the player to step up without him. The team’s loss that night burned the previous Heatstar’s desire to play.
That includes the likes of Jonathan Cuminga, who was recently returned.
Former Miami star Udonis Haslem has announced his reservations as to whether Butler’s impact on the Warriors will continue.
Kerr opposes Butler’s perfect fit, referring to a must-see, must-see idea.
