The most important thing for me is… – Suryakumar Yadav
Suryakumar Yadav said he is planning a phased recovery, adding that his coach and Physios have trained to suit his body needs. The 34-year-old will be captaining India for the first time in a major tournament.
“When I did the (scan), the (injury) was very clear. I posted it to the IPL and went to Germany. And how it went last year really worked.
“I think the most important thing for me is when you came to the COE or even at the NCA last year, they understood how my body responded to a certain situation. So, all strength and conditioning coach and Physios understood how his body worked and planned all the training accordingly.”
“It was all instantaneous. As soon as I went to the gym and I was here, they plan a session. That’s how we take a week at a time and we’re here slowly and steadily.”
