Manchester United defender Matthijs de Ligt provided insight into life under Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils had a disappointing season, finishing 15th in the Premier League table and losing to the Europa League final.
Amorim was brought in to replace Erik Ten Hag last November, but it’s fair to say he endured a really tough start to his life in Manchester.
De Ligt sees some positives and clicks athletic with Amorim and tells him you can see him working to change the club’s culture.
It is still unclear who will sign United this summer, but Deligt has revealed that Amorim is only ready to work with the right characters.

“I like to see what the manager is doing right now. I’m not talking about the details, but I feel he’s really looking at the spot,” De Ligt said.
“I’m not just talking about the players, but the whole culture and the way we work in the club. I think he’s really interested in the details.
“Before signing a new player, he first looks at ‘what is culture, what needs to change, what can be improved to become a better football club.’ I think we’ll see more of that from next season. ”
Is Matheus Cunha suitable for what Ruben Amorim is building?
One player who is strongly linked to United is Matheus Cunha, the front of the wolf, but Pundit Stan Collymore has raised doubts about whether he has a suitable character for the club.
