Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandez has been linked to moves that have left the club over the past few months.
There were rumors that the Saudi club could try to sign Portugal International in the summer and could provide a substantial amount of money for his services.
The 30-year-old is an extraordinary Manchester United performer with 19 goals this season. He earned 19 assists along the way.
He is definitely a world class player and Manchester United can’t afford to lose him if they are serious about fighting for the major trophies.
Evra has a warning in Man United
Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra warned the club that selling Fernandez could be a major mistake. He also labeled Portugal International as the most important player in the club. The French defender went on to explain that Manchester United would not have made it to the UEFA Europa League final without a star midfielder.
Evra told Sky Sports: “We need more defenders, we need the right striker, and maybe we have midfielders to support Bruno. I’ve heard that in the Saudi Arabia we can provide a lot of money to get Bruno, but I think it’s a mistake to talk about his age.
Man United must hold Bruno Fernandez
It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can keep the 30-year-old midfielder with the club for the upcoming season. He is not one of their best players, but also the leader of the dressing room.
Manchester United will need to maintain a player of his quality and experience if they want to bounce back strong next year. It’s a disappointing season for them, and it’ll end in the bottom half of this season. Their height club is expected to be much better.
