Over the past few months, Trent Alexander Arnold has been linked with the move to join Real Madrid away from Liverpool.

Real Madrid gave Alexander Arnold a major target for the summer transfer window, but the move now managed to take a sensational U-turn questioning leaving his boyhood club for the Spanish giants.
Mick Brown argues that Alexander Arnold could potentially consider staying at Anfield this summer.
“I think there’s a chance he might stay in Liverpool.” He told the soccer insider.
“It’s going on throughout the season, there have been a lot of talk, but it hasn’t been signed yet.
“There’s definitely something to the fact that Carlo Ancelotti may be leaving Real Madrid.
“That might give Trent reason to question his decision whether he will go or not.
“It looks like Madrid is in the reconstruction phase, which will create uncertainty for Trent Alexander Arnold as he may not fit under his new manager.
“He had known Ancelotti since his days at Merseyside, so it played a huge role in interest.
“All of a sudden, this twist was thrown in at the last minute, so he asks questions and probably has a second thought.
“The possibility is that he might stay in Liverpool under pressure from the fans and from the club.”

It’s still unclear what the future holds for the Liverpool star, but fans will be encouraged by this update.
Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk have already signed new deals at the club, and Alexander-Arnold is the only one facing an uncertain future at the present.
