After the match, Jaden McDaniels spoke about his thrusts with Shy Gilgaus Alexander. McDaniels claims he had no malicious intentions.
He admitted that he was intentionally trying to foul Shay, but he didn’t want to harm him or push him and send a message.
“I just wanted to foul him. I wasn’t mad either, I just had a foul to use.”
McDaniels looked sincere in his comments, but looking at the nature of the foul, there is doubt as to how true he is.

A foul from McDaniels could have been an act of frustration. But there’s no denying that the Timberwolves are beginning to feel pressure.
Chris Finch admitted that the Timberwolves fell into the trick of Shy Gilgauss Alexander in Game 1. It appears to be continuing in Game 2, with the Timberwolves allowing Shy to reach the line several times.
If Timberwolves wants some improvements, you need to change the way you approach the game.
