Liverpool manager Arne Slot spoke about the transfer situation involving Harvey Elliott in his connection with Newcastle United before the summer.
The 22-year-old struggled with playing for Liverpool, and slots gave honest approval as to how he saw the players.
Slot praised Elliott’s form after returning from his injury, but he also admitted that he had spoken to him about his performance level.
Arne Slot provides clues to the Harvey Elliott Future

Slot also appears to recognize that Elliott is not playing well, suggesting that Dutch tacticians know he is someone who may not be completely satisfied with his current role at Anfield.
Elliott has been linked recently as a target for Newcastle by Team Talc, so this may be something to be noted as he could provide a more important role.
Magpies need a little more creativity in the middle, and while Elliot looks like someone who can provide it, the competition for Anfield’s location may be a little too much for him at this stage of his career.
Will Harvey Elliott join others through the Liverpool exit door this summer?
The LFC made little change to the team when the slots took over last summer, but this may mean that Elliott is the only focus this year.
Others like Caoimhin Kelleher, Joe Gomez, Wataru Endo and Kostas Tsimikas may want to play more than ever, but flops like Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa look like obvious candidates if possible.
Meanwhile, star player Trent Alexander Arnold is heading towards the end of his contract and is now ready to set out for a free transfer.
