Noni Maduke’s move to Arsenal is now official, and it appears that Mikel Arteta has received passionate reviews from some of his players at the England winger.
According to Sam Dean of The Telegraph, Gunners duo Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice both gave Arteta support for the contract.
Even when many Arsenal fanbase and deals aren’t going very well, the pair seems to appreciate Maduce very much.
For Dean’s posts on the previous X, previous Twitter, and for more positive feelings about Maduke’s arrival on the Arsenal team, see below.
Discussing Madueke’s move to Arsenal, Dean said:When Bukayo Saka & Declan Rice spoke to Mikel Arteta/Club, it was said that Noni Madueke had given him a passionate review of all (understandable) suspicions in Arsenal’s fan base that he had arrived from Chelsea. Both players clearly think that Madueke is good enough to make an impact on #AFC. ”
Where will Noni Maduce play for Arsenal?
Maduke has played mainly on the right side of his career, but he can also play on the left.
Given the presence of Saka on the right side of Arsenal, it is difficult to see a new arrival get a lot of playing time in that position, but having that extra depth is useful.
Arsenal fans can instead see many Maduekes on the left, giving Arteta a much needed alternative to inconsistent performers like Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Torosador.
Arsenal signs another player for Chelsea
Arsenal can’t stop them from signing players from rival Chelsea. Madueke follows goalkeeper Kepa Alizabaraga, who will trade Stamford Bridge for Emirates Stadium this summer.
Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling joined the AFC from the CFC last season. We’ve also seen celebrities like Jorginho and Kai Havertz making the same move in recent years.
Back further, Arsenal signed London rivals Petr Cech, David Luiz, Willian and others.
