In addition to this, one downside point has been added to both players’ disciplinary records, stating this is the first attack of the past 24 months.
What actions led to sanctions on Afghan spinners?
Offspinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman, who was featured as the third spinner in the Afghan attack, had smashed a stump with a towel during the match. This was marked as an act of vandalism against cricket equipment.
Meanwhile, CSK spinner Noah Ahmad, who was part of the Afghan team, was part of the team in every match of the sport, but expressed his 16th opposition to the referee’s decision, as he determined that one of the deliveries was broad.
