Ajax star Yarel Hat has emerged as one of the most popular young defenders in European football.
The youngster was impressed by some of the world’s biggest clubs in his performance at a Dutch club.
The pigeons are linked to travel to Liverpool along with clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal.
But despite increasing potential speculation for the summer exit, the 19-year-old publicly reaffirms his commitment to Ajax, saying he still feels “at home” at Johann Cruyff Arena.
Hato enjoyed an incredible rise through the ranks of Ajax and became a regular on the first team before his 20th birthday.
Even at such a young age, the defender made over 100 appearances on Ajax.
Liverpool’s target Yarel pigeon won’t force Ajax to leave
His rapid development has naturally attracted attention from the elite Premier League clubs, but the pigeons cannot hurry away.
If pigeons are reported by Soccer Primeur:
“The smartest thing is to see it every season, and that’s what I do.
“Of course, I want to achieve things in the end, like the Champions League, the World Cup, the European Championships, etc. There’s still plenty of time. I don’t think I’ll definitely have to win the Champions League in two years.
“In the Dutch league, you have to show how good you are against big clubs. Ultimately, I have to continue developing what I already specialize in so that it’s on top. How do you explain my time with Ajax? Ajax is at home for me.
Nevertheless, the Dutch club may still be trying to win cash. With three years remaining on his current contract, this summer could represent a defender’s peak rating moment.
Red may need to focus on other targets
Football insiders report that Ajax will demand around £40 million from a young, versatile defender.
For now, Hato is focusing on Ajax, and the move to the Premier League will depend on how the behind-the-scenes talk progresses.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are expected to continue to monitor the situation closely as they evaluate their defensive reinforcements.
The Reds are keen on defensive additions this summer and Goncaro Inasio in the sport of radar.
