  • Asian Cup 2025 ticket hype for India-Pakistan clash
  • Flights and hotels will be more expensive than India-Pakistan’s clash
  • India has had a strong record against Pakistan in recent years

The shocking development remains with tickets for the highly anticipated clash between India and Pakistan at the ongoing Asian Cup 2025, despite the excitement surrounding the match. India vs Pakistan has always been one of the biggest games in cricket, so it has attracted the attention of fans and experts alike.

After the Pahargam terrorist attacks in April 2025, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists, many Indian fans have questioned whether the team should face Pakistan.

The government approved participation in the multinational tournament, but some supporters urged the team to boycott fixtures against Pakistan.

Asian Cup 2025 ticket hype for India-Pakistan clash

India will launch its Asian Cup 2025 campaign at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 10th. They will then face Pakistan at the same venue on September 14th.

In particular, tickets for the India vs Pakistan encounter usually sell out within a few hours. However, many tickets are still available for upcoming matches.

Prices for premium options are very high on ticket platforms such as Viagogo and Platinumlist. A pair of seating at VIP Suites East costs Rs 257 lakh, including aisle seating, unlimited food and drinks, parking passes, VIP club/lounge access, and private entrance and toilet facilities.

Other options include Royal Box for £2.30 lakh, Skybox East for 1.67 lakh, platinum £75,659, Grand Lounge 41,153, Pavilion West for £28,174, and the most affordable general East category for two seats is around £10,000.

Flights and hotels will be more expensive than India-Pakistan’s clash

Flight and hotel prices are also rising. According to media reports, due to high demand, flight fares have risen from September 13th to 14th.

Tickets from Mumbai to Dubai start at £11,000, while flights from Delhi to Dubai cost around £15,000. Return fares are expected to range from £25,000 to £40,000 as the match approaches.

Budget accommodations are available for around £5,000 per night, while 3-4 star hotels cost between £9,000 and £12,000. Prices for a 5-star luxury hotel are over £18,000 per night.

India has had a strong record against Pakistan in recent years

India has had a strong record against Pakistan in recent years. India defeated Pakistan with a massive margin of 228 in the 2023 Asian Cup ODI clash. Following that, India has won all encounters against Pakistan, including the 2023 Cricket World Cup, the 2024 T20 World Cup, and the 2025 Champions Trophy.

Pakistan’s current form was also a concern. The team struggled with international cricket and could not match India’s consistency and performance levels.

Meanwhile, India has improved its regular competition against fitness, training methods, world-class facilities and strong teams. Pakistan, by contrast, is behind, creating a large gap between the two sides.

India does not have the stubborn Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli who retired after the 2024 T20 World Cup. Pakistan has removed key players Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan from the team for the 2025 Asian Cup.
