The shocking development remains with tickets for the highly anticipated clash between India and Pakistan at the ongoing Asian Cup 2025, despite the excitement surrounding the match. India vs Pakistan has always been one of the biggest games in cricket, so it has attracted the attention of fans and experts alike.
After the Pahargam terrorist attacks in April 2025, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists, many Indian fans have questioned whether the team should face Pakistan.
The government approved participation in the multinational tournament, but some supporters urged the team to boycott fixtures against Pakistan.

India has had a strong record against Pakistan in recent years
India has had a strong record against Pakistan in recent years. India defeated Pakistan with a massive margin of 228 in the 2023 Asian Cup ODI clash. Following that, India has won all encounters against Pakistan, including the 2023 Cricket World Cup, the 2024 T20 World Cup, and the 2025 Champions Trophy.
Pakistan’s current form was also a concern. The team struggled with international cricket and could not match India’s consistency and performance levels.
Meanwhile, India has improved its regular competition against fitness, training methods, world-class facilities and strong teams. Pakistan, by contrast, is behind, creating a large gap between the two sides.
India does not have the stubborn Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli who retired after the 2024 T20 World Cup. Pakistan has removed key players Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan from the team for the 2025 Asian Cup.
