India’s Cricket Committee (BCCI) officially announced the schedule for the White Ball Series in January 2026, in which three ODI matches and five T20 Internationals against New Zealand at home. Vadodara is planning to hold his first international men’s matches for the first time in 15 years.
New Zealand is set to return to India for the first time since their dominant 3-0 Test series won late last year. The upcoming White Ball Tour will also mark the first meeting on both sides as India defeated the Black Cap in the Champions Trophy 2025 Finals held in Dubai this March.

For New Zealand, the series offers a valuable opportunity to adapt to the situation in India. With the World Cup scheduled for February to March, visitors will aim to gather important experiences in the subcontinent situation.
BCCI checks New Zealand’s India Tour Schedule for Early 2026
“The Apex Council has confirmed the venue for India’s upcoming White Ball Home Series against New Zealand, scheduled to take place in early 2026,” BCCI said.
According to BCCI, India will host New Zealand in January 2026 with an eight-match Whiteball Series. The series starts with three single day internationals and five T20 internationals.
The ODI leg begins at Vadodara on January 11th, with Rajkot and Indore scheduled to host their second and third ODIs on January 14th and 18th respectively.
According to the schedule, the T20I series will start in Nagpur on January 21st. Raipur will hold its second T20I on January 23, followed by matches at Guwahati (January 25), Visakhapatnam (January 28) and Thiruvananthapuram (January 31).
New Zealand’s latest Indian White Ball Tour took place in early 2023. We played three ODIs and three T20Is during the tour. In particular, the Black Cap was able to win in just one match. They secured a 21-run victory in the opening T20I of Lunch.
