Liverpool legend Jamie Carrager made the big claim that Reuben Amorim would inevitably lose his job soon as Manchester United manager.
The Portuguese tactician struggled badly during his time at Old Trafford, and Karager dug up what he described as “unbelievable” statistics.
Speaking about the latest overlap, Amorim’s Man UTD side only scored two goals than they admitted in their 50 games, according to Pundit.
That’s pretty shocking for the Red Devils, who seem to be getting worse even after a difficult period with other managers during their post-sier Alex Ferguson days.
Jamie Carrager says Reuben Amorim’s bags seem inevitable
Carragher can’t see Amorim continuing for so long as United’s manager.
“I would never say that this manager should be fired. I sometimes think that words sound a little rude,” Karager said.
“I think it’s inevitable that this will probably happen before Christmas, January. It’s been saying this for a long time, but we’re 50 games. This stat is incredible for the manager of Manchester United.
Amorim certainly has to do more to fire this United team. The club has shown considerable patience towards him and sees little in return.
MUFC is clearly far from being the title challenger like its previous one, but they have a team that should be far better than this.
Even if things weren’t big under Erik Ten Hag, they at least won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, but finished in the top four in Dutchman’s first season.
