Los Angeles ‘ reliever Ed Gard Henriquez has a locker at the clubhouse ahead of Monday’s series opener against the Minnesota Twins.

Henriquez’s arrival indicates that a roster move will come as soon as the right-hander is likely to be activated. The resurrected rescuers from the injured list at the end of June, but chose him as Triple A Oklahoma City.
In 2024, Henriquez produced 2.70 ERAs on five strikeouts, one pitched in 3.1 innings. The right-hander made his major league debut with the in September last year, facing the San Diego Padres.
This spring, Henriquez was prevented from getting injured in his foot and prevented him from starting the season. Right-handed was one of many saviors starting the year in Illinois.
The signed the Venezuelan as a free agent in 2018. Henriquez was injured for three consecutive seasons, eventually undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2023.
After the right-hander returned during the 2024 campaign, he sped up the ‘ farm system. Henriquez began the year with the single-A Rancho Cucamonga earthquake and ended the season with a big league team, making appearances three times.
In OKC this season, Henriquez has earned a 5.89 ERA with 26 strikeouts and 1.69 whips in 18.1 innings.
After spending last month with a minor, Henriquez is set to make his 2025 debut at a time when the desperately need a victory after losing 10 of their last 12 games. Perhaps the hard-throwing reliefers could provide a much-needed boost to the bullpen.
