They were once again slowly on the injury bug when the Los Angeles looked healthier.
Freddie Freeman and Alex Cole are the latest who have been forced to miss the game due to injuries. Alex Vesia is the latest on the injured list.

However, none of the three injuries appear to be serious, and the are hoping that some reinforcements will be ruled out next week in IL. It’s the latest update for the major injured , approaching the September call-up and appearing to be closest to the return.
Freddie Freeman Injury Update
Freeman missed Wednesday’s game, which manager Dave Roberts called “Stinger” in the neck area. Roberts expressed optimism that Freeman will return to the Arizona Diamondbacks for Friday’s series opener.
“That’s something he handled before,” Roberts said ahead of Wednesday’s game. “What’s worse, he said, but we felt safe not to play him tonight.”
Hyeseong Kim’s injury update
Kim is currently undergoing rehabilitation assignments and is likely to rejoin the team when the number one ranks expand to 28 on September 1st.
Kim played the field on the left during his rehab assignments, but it’s still not clear if he’s an option at the major league level.
“Obviously, we know that Heisen can play Nibase,” Roberts said of Kim, who plays left in his rehabilitation assignment. “We know he can do short stops, so just looking at him on the field on the left, I think it could give us a little more options.”
Max Muncy Injury Update
Muncie has not yet assigned rehab, but she practiced batting and trained defensively on the field on Wednesday.
He is on track to return one day next week during his team’s road trips in Pittsburgh and Baltimore.
Michael Kopech’s injury update
Kopech is officially eligible to be out of the 60-day IL on Wednesday and is rehabilitating assignments. He will probably call along with Kim on the other September 1st of the team.
Alex calls an injury update
He injured an SI joint on his back on Tuesday, but did not play on Wednesday. Roberts said the team hopes they can avoid stints in the IL, but we’ll learn more in the next few days. He is now considered daily.
