Many Crystal Palace players have linked to the summer exit, one of them could now head to Saudi Arabia.
Marc Guehi, Adam Wharton and Eberechi Eze are one of the players who can leave Selhurst Park, but Crystal Palace is desperate to keep all three. But one player they are willing to let go is Odsonne Edouard.
Eduard’s era at Crystal Palace appears to have ended, especially after a long distance from the impressive loan spell at Leicester.
Odson Eduard is set to replace Crystal Palace with Saudi Arabia
Speaking to a football insider, former scout Mick Brown confirmed that Crystal Palace is eager to offload Eduard this summer.
“Crystal Palace wants to sell Eduard forever. He was given the opportunity to go to Leicester and make a difference there, but he hasn’t done it. If he’s not enough for Leicester, will he be better enough for Crystal Palace?
“From what I said, there are clubs in MLS and Saudi Arabia that are watching him, and that could be their best bet. He wasn’t sure about moving to the US, but frankly, he may not be struggling in the Premier League.
“But it’s not in the palace, that’s certainly true, so if they can sell him, it would be best for all political parties.”
It is still unclear where Eduardo is, but at this stage it is inevitable that he is nearing the end of his time at Crystal Palace.
