As Manchester United aims to clean up deadwood from Reuben Amorim’s team, Inter reportedly can provide assistance after submitting enquiries to sign two Old Trafford attackers.
Set the Man UTD exit door set to open
Much of the focus so far this summer has been on acceptances that the Red Devils have made or could continue, but there is no denying that there is a lot of work at the front of the exit. Before the preseason begins, there are a few stars that Ineos should show his doors to make space for people like Brian Mbemo and Emiliano Martinez.
Among them is, of course, Rasmus Hojlund. The young forward struggled once again last season – scoring only four Premier League goals – and could leave Manchester United this summer, even if he wanted to fight for his place.
It’s Italian return to football, which appears to be Hozilund’s most likely escape route in the coming months. The report already links the forward to Serie a Champion Napoli in a move that rose to unexpected stardom, but previous headlines suggest that he is trapped in his signature.
His departure will certainly suit all involved. For Manchester United, they didn’t pay the surprising £72 million fee they initially paid, but they’ll clear unnecessary players from the wage bill. Meanwhile, for Hojlund, it will be a much-needed new start.
Intel still managed to do multiple deals with the Red Devils, but amid rumors that he is also interested in another unwanted star this summer.
Intersend Rashford enquiries
Inter is currently submitting an investigation to make a loan to Marcus Rashford, according to Manchester Evening News. Like Hojlund, England International could potentially leave Red Devils this summer after a midseason fallout with Ruben Amorim and subsequent loan spells to Aston Villa.

Manchester United finally managed to get a man after a massive bid recently.
However, it was Aston Villa that Rashford began rediscovering his best form, winning the praises of manager Unai Emery. The Spaniard told reporters following Rashford’s impressive exhibit against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. “He felt good, he had a great match. We’re so happy. If he’s happy, we’re happy.”

Whether Aston Villa himself will return to Rashford is another question that will be asked as summer progresses. He certainly enjoyed success under Emery, but as their PSR issues continue, they may simply not be able to afford his annual salary of £14 million.
This will allow Inter to plummet and enter into a potential loan agreement to welcome another Premier League player into Serie A this summer.
