According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City is interested in signing Destiny Udogie at Tottenham Hotspur as it considers options to rebuild its fullback division.
The Premier League champion is not expected to easily complete that particular transfer, and Udogie will be tied to the current club for another five years and considered a key player in the North London outfit. Nevertheless, city boss Pep Guardiola is considered a 22-year-old left-back worshiper and is very hoping for him in Etihad.
Modern, offensive fullback Udogie has made 29 appearances in every Spurs tournament this season, overcoming hamstring problems without him taking action during the first month of the calendar year. He invades the Italian national side and boasts 11 caps for Azurli.
The city will ask for a new left back no matter what. If Udogie is too stiff or too high for signing, they could move to Andrea Cambiaso in Juventus.
