On Monday, May 19th, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) held Sunrise Hyderabad (SRH) in the 61st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at Bharat Ratna Sri Ria Talbi Hari Verpai Ekana Cricket Stadium.
Sunrise Hyderabad won the toss and chose to bowl first. It was not proven bad at first, as Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Marclam took the bowlers to the cleaners.
Mitchell Marsh hit 65 balls and Aiden Marklam ran 61 times from 38 balls. However, Rishabh Pant could not leave at age 7 if he did well again. From intermediate to low, only Nicholas Pooran played a good knock of 45 runs, but the rest of the batters failed.

Lucknow’s Super Giants were limited to 205/7, as Eshan Malinga (2/28), Harsh Dubey (1/44), Harshal Patel (1/49) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (1/28) picked up the wickets for the SRH.
Chasing after the target, SRH lost Atharvateid at 13, but Abhishek Sharma played 59 sensational knocks from 20 balls and found good support from Ishan Kishan (35).
Heinrich Klaasen (47) and Kamindu Mendis (32) also chipped in with excellent contributions, with SRH completing the run chase in 18.2 overs and recording a six-wicket victory. A loss in the match caused the Lucknow Super Giants to be knocked out of the playoff race.
