Famous 20-year-old Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batsman Swastik Chikara revealed a private chat with Virat Kohli during his stint at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Swastik Chikara revealed that Virat Kohli clearly told him that he would not play as an “impact player” in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and that he would continue to play like a lion.

Born in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on April 3, 2005, Chikara gained fame and popularity in 2025 in her maiden stint with IPL’s royal challenger Bengaluru (RCB).

He was acquired by the IPL 2025 champion at the INR 30 Lakh mega auction, which was his base price. We called for him to be included in Play XI during the season, but he was happy to be kept on the bench and help his teammates whenever he needed a drink break.
Despite not playing games, he became insanely popular and attracted a lot of attention, mainly due to his visible admiration for Virat Kohli.

Swastik Chikara revealed that in one of his interactions with Kohli, the legendary batsman told him that he never played as an impact player in the IPL and prefers fielding in 20 overs along with batting. He said:
