Alexander Isaac expressed his joy and relief that he could concentrate on playing football again after a busy summer transfer window.
The striker made his first appearance of the season in place of Sweden’s 2-0 defeat to Kosovo in World Cup qualifiers.
Isaac was not included in the Newcastle team for the opening of three games in the 2025-26 season after seeking a move away from the magpies he had set for a deadline.
The 25-year-old is currently set to challenge Hugo Ekitique at the Liverpool starting lineup spot, allowing him to make his Reds debut against Burnley this weekend.
Isak was unable to influence the 19-minute cameo against Kosovo, but was happy to be back on the pitch again.
“Not everyone has the big picture, but it’s for another day,” Isak told Swedish media.

“I can’t control everything I’ve been told or written, but I’m happy to be a Liverpool player.
“It’s great to be able to stay calm before camp and focus on playing football again.
“It was a fairly new situation for me, but you always learn and develop mentally from the pitch.”
