The New Orleans Pelican chose what Jeremiah is afraid of on his seventh pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Fear was one of the top prospects in the draft class despite being among the youngest at just 18 years old.
Pelican fans are even more excited about the choice after seeing the flash of sparkle in the NBA Summer League.
During the Pelicans’ game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night, Isaiah Thomas shared his views on the horror.
Fear is already destined to become an NBA superstar. He gave 22 points, six rebounds and six assists against six Thunders.
He averaged around 16 points in four summer league matches for the Pelicans in Las Vegas.
The only concern about the game of horror at the moment is his efficiency, especially beyond the arc, but that is what we expect from his age.
Isaiah Thomas seems certain that fear, like many in Chicago, will develop into a good point guard.
“He’s extremely talented,” Thomas told NBA TV. “I left Chicago and Derrick Rose, Tim Hardaway, Maurice Cheeks, me, Ronnie Lester.
“There’s a Chicago Point Guard boat that you have to live with… he understands the challenges.”
Joe Dumar, general manager of the Pelicans in New Orleans, received much criticism for his NBA draft choice.
The Dumars gave up the Pelicans’ unprotected first-round pick next season, bringing 10 spots from 23rd to 13th in the draft.
With the acquired pick, he took Derrick Queen, a big 20-year-old man.
However, the Queen has been impressed with the summer league so far, adding 17 points and 10 rebounds against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
Queen and Fear already look like better rookies in the two of their class, but perhaps the guy deserves an apology.
