Man TT Island has a three-year contract with BMW Motorrad to allow the manufacturer to become the official vehicle safety partner.

BMW offers a variety of vehicles to support TT officials, medics and ex-s across the mountain course.

All of the travel sources are former racers and will be participating in BMW’s 1000 RR. In its 70th year at the event, the Travel Source is the first responder.

TT Rider liaison officers will also take part in the same BMW machines that support newcomers.

BMW offers X5 and X3 vehicles and X5M as medical fast response vehicles to support TT medical procedures.

The original is equipped by the BMW 530E saloon. BMW will also strengthen its safety car fleet with its M3 and M5 saloons.

“We’ve seen you get a lot of money,” said Paul Phillips, Head of Motorsports at Enterprise Island. “Safety is at the heart of everything we do at TT, and having a partner who can help us realize that commitment is essential to the success of the event.

“Our medical response team is continuing to drive innovation to improve safety standards, and it is essential to have the best equipment they have available and to ensure that all officials and ex-s can operate as effectively and safely as possible.

“We look forward to partnering with BMW, a brand that shares our values and vision for the future of the event.”

Scott Grimsdall, UK Marketing Director and PR BMW Motorrad, said:

“Deploying safely and efficiently is an important part of their role, and we are pleased to be able to partner with people’s TT races and provide a variety of BMW machines packed with class-leading technology to do so.”

2025 TT will begin on May 26th.
