James Harden was the driving force behind this 2024-25 season of Los Angeles Clippers Rally.
With Paul George taking away his talent and Kawi Leonard on the sidelines earlier this year, the Los Angeles Clippers are leaning heavily towards James Harden’s leadership.
Harden accepted the call and served as the head of making the Clippers competitive.
He billed Los Angeles to the top six spots in the Western Conference (41-31), which averaged 22.5 points, 8.7 assists and 5.8 rebounds.
Historic Performance and Scoring Heights Harden was delivered on the occasion when he claims the Clippers this year.
Since he retired in 2019, the Miami Heat legend has become a fierce supporter of today’s stars.
Recently, he praised Luka Donsic for his incredible dynamics and how he could influence LeBron James.
In Harden’s case, Wade is fascinated with how Clipper Star continues to function.
He told the podcast:
“James is a basketball genius. He’s not trusted to be a basketball genius.
“The way he controls the game. But it’s not just a foul, it’s not just a way for him to pull away from the game.
“We just watch James Harden play the game. It’s a beautiful brand of basketball that he was able to translate to another generation, James Harden of the current generation.”
The most interesting part of Harden’s great season is his sustained level of play.
At 35, Harden continues to remain productive with Clips. He continues to age like a fine wine. He even nodded the 11th All-Star this year after two seasons of such honors.
“That’s the most difficult thing. So it’s the most difficult thing for (Harden) to fall as one of the greats, because that’s the most difficult thing. That’s to keep it up as you get 34, 35, 36,” Wade added.
“He’s keeping getting a little slower, but even so, one-on-one, he can take you and shoot it, and get your teammates involved.”
With Harden on the front, the Clippers have a chance in the postseason season.
