With nothing to play in the qualifying rounds for European Premier League bars, how Berta is beginning to switch to summer through his first transfer window at Arsenal after his departure from Atletico Madrid.
One of his key targets is believed to be the real Sociedad midfielder Martins Vimendi, who can come to fill the gap left in the midfield by the disputed departures of both Thomas Party and Gorginho.
Arsenal is about to agree to a pre-summer deal for Zvimendi, which Kieran Tierney called “world class,” and they date back to January.
However, Real Madrid has also met with the Zubimendi camp, reportedly making it clear that it wanted to sign the £50 million Spaniard ahead of Arsenal.
Arsenal will sign Martin Zubimendi with “very likely”
Sky Reporter Sheth shares encouraging updates on the 26-year-old Arsenal’s pursuit amidst fierce competition from the actual and other elite sides.
A trusted journalist speaks on Sky Sports’ backpage podcast, saying Arsenal will “almost certainly” sign Zubimendi. He says he’s very likely to join Arteta’s side after experiencing Liverpool’s progress last year.
“I think Zubimendi’s Zubimendi will almost certainly happen to Arsenal,” Shess said.
“Looking back at the summer transfer window now, I wonder if Liverpool was all set to sign Martin Zubimendi, and then the change in his heart was delayed.
“It all looked like he was going to Liverpool, so you have to ask that question. It looked like a completed transaction. The transaction was agreed.
“It was he who changed his mind in the last moments, and you wonder if Arsenal had come in and said.
“And maybe he just thought, I just thought I was going to just take my time. I actually want to go to Arsenal. Maybe he thought that.”
