Dillon Danis has not moved from a boxing match with current WWE star Logan Paul.
Danis lost to Paul in Misfits Boxing’s The Prime Card in October 2023. This fight wasn’t that competitive. The 31-year-old has returned to misfit – this time in a fight with MMA Warren Spencer at Misfits Boxing 22 – Danis looks back on dealing with fallout from his match against Paul.
“I don’t know any guys, that was tough for me,” Danis told Wade Lemons. “Since that day, I’ve been like a suicide. I know I can beat him, so I know I can do better than that. I’m very competitive.
There is a lot of history between Danis and Paul, both inside and outside the ring. Before the matchup, Danis fired a series of tweets about Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal. This led to Agdal filing a lawsuit. This is still underway.
Danis is sure he can defeat Paul as he heads into battle, but he was told by the well-known UFC middleweight that the WWE star is better than he thinks he is in the boxing ring.
“But I went to dinner with Paulo Costa, so I knew he was half decent, and we were going to fight for the first time… and he was injured in the reign of Rome,” Danis said. “It would be me and him, and KSI and Tyron Woodley in Atlanta. (Costa told me at dinner). “Are you serious?” And he was like “serious death.” He might be mad at me saying this.
“Then I’ve heard some stories about it and I know he was decent, but I could have beat him, I know I could have beat him, and that’s what drives me crazy to this day.
