28 Strawweight veteran Angela Hill has the next mission to face Fati McLine, one of the upcoming outlooks at the top of the division, on the upcoming UFC 322 card, which will take place in New York on November 15th from Madison Square Garden.
Several people with knowledge of promotional planning confirmed the news of MMA Fighting on Wednesday. MMA Junkie initially reported the news.
Hill enters the fight in hopes of returning to the victory column, following a unanimous decision defeat to Iasmin Lucind in his previous launch in August. Overall, Hill has 3-2 record in his last five fights. This includes victory over Ketoren Soza and Luanapine Hailo.
As for Klein, she is about to build on an impressive two-game winning streak, including knockout finishes at both Melissa Martinez and Victoria Dudakova. Klein bouncing off her only defeat in the octagon when she fell to Jasmine Jasdavicius in her debut, but although it was immediately notified, she has proven herself with her latest two victories in the UFC.
Hill vs. Klein will be joining the growing lineup heading into New York City in the main event, pitting welterweight champion Jack Dela Maddarena against former lightweight champion Islamic Makachev, who will travel to 170 pounds for the first time in the UFC.
The card also features a female flyweight title fight. Champion Valentina Shevchenko is defending her belt against Zhang Weili, who abandoned her strawweight title to travel to 125 pounds in an attempt to become a two-division champion.
